The Thyme Foundation is an initiative by Magnums Butlers International to assist young Thai hospitality students at Ban Muang Kud School, just northwest of Chiang Mai, achieve a career in hospitality with professional industry 'volunteachers' from around the world.

Inspired by an article in the Bangkok Post in December 2009, Josephine Ive, its founder, subsequently travelled to the school to offer assistance to them as a 'volunteacher' in basic Food and Beverage Service Skills.
